I was excited reading this. I have a blog,www.asparkofmagic.blogspot.com. and I want to market the ideas I tell about in it, life tips. Also I have friends with their own businesses. I think I will refer them to Nancy. I used to have a business bore I retired and grew it by referrals but forgot that technique.

I have Linked In, Facebook, Twitter, MySpace. The activity I get from those seeking jobs. How do I get to senior C-Level Execs, Board Members, and Private Equity owners who make decisions? They are often not on these sites. The issue appears to be one of attracting the “Right” audience, not just an audiance. Thanks.

Further, I always teach my clients to send gifts to TV and radio producers — but NOT print journalists as they have ehtical guidelines that prevent them for taking gifts. Consider it this way, broadcast producers are focused on “entertaining their audience” competing with sitcoms and the like. They are much more “show” oriented while newspaper writers want the “big story” and they want to educate their readers. So, when thanking the media, ask yourself are they educating or entertaining? Broadcast entertaining (send a gift) … journalistic educating (just send a card). Happy gifting! – Michelle

As far as I am concerned it is too late for BoA.
In the past, they have collected enough $39 fees to bail out one or two third world countries from their debt.
Also, whenever I found someone I could work with at BoA, that person either got sick of BoA and took another job or was fired.
I can not wait to disentangle myself from man/woman eating octopus that is the BoA.
